HOPELESSNESS

Sunday, October 31st, 2010

For many today there is a degree of hopelessness surrounding their thoughts, events at large seem almost too much for them to mentally cope with, and that there are few if any politicians on the planet that have both guts and brains and are not afraid to use both, most seem to be always dithering on a half way ‘one size fits all’ intellectual stance, yet spouting out rhetoric as if what they have done was momentous, in their own minds – maybe. There is a lunatic fringe who seem to dwell in local government and whilst some local governments do some excellent work many fall short because of gross stupidity and ineptitude from the politically correct morons and bureaucratic ambiance which they tend to uphold. Where world terrorism is almost an exclusive domain for mental Islamists yet governments cower down to them as if they are some superior race whereas the truth be told they are the worlds greatest failures, just look here they live and what they achieve, the lowest of everything. Where modern day banking has become a fine art of almost legalised embezzlement and governments have tiptoed through tepid water at really solving the problem in the fear that bankers will move, no one is irreplaceable and where one person goes there are queus just awaiting the demise of the person in front. The problem lies in old staid dull archaic management who can’t, won’t see beyond the past, the future is changing remarkably and even many young people of today are steeped in traditional and outmoded ideology, which doesn’t mean compromising morals or the values in society. Governments are like the media more adept at the easy options of spreading fear and negativity because it requires little creative thought and definitely no back up required as an after service, and it can be changed at will to heighten or tone down previous comments in order to manipulate future intentions.

But it’s not for nothing that one of the greatest problems affecting modern society is that of mental health, and secondly in western cultures the acquiescing of immigrant cultures that are outmoded and rubbish joining a more developed socity where such immigrants want a better life yet cling on to the cesspool of a defunct and pathetic society and culture from whence they have left and yet start nurturing their past forming an almost replica of what they have just left, then wonder why others ostracize them It’s all not rocket science, although like everything in life it’s how events are managed that make them work or a protocol or free fall into a self created decay. Hopelessness is a vast problem, as one migrates to the apex of the life pyramid such problems become diluted as personal means put paid to gross distortions that lesser mortals think about. Attitude is everything in life and where many see negativity ahead of them because their personal situation is precariously balanced, others are more stable in that they can weather what’s ahead even if pushed a little, and for some it makes no difference whatsoever. The chat rooms on the many dating sites or social websites are crammed full of lonely people seeking some kind of contact to fulfil that void in their stomachs that they daily experience with regards someone significant in their lives, alas to no avail, constant chat gives rise to heightened brain movements that’s like getting drunk, once you stop the sensation goes, and an overload leads to big downers of nothingness and feelings of ‘now what?’ Humans crave for a whole range of things to get feelings of other human emotions to feel more complete themselves, yet modern politics is full of hollow thoughts because those that practise their art haven’t any ability in social humanity on a scale over and above their own families.

The question raised is “is hopelessness today” a product of our society or a product of society itself opting out of what it sees as problems beyond its comprehension and ability to change itself. thus it feels less able to cope as it did years ago and its own resilience is somewhat floundering to an extent it almost gives in. Where governments need to be strong so that the population needs to feel that at least there is someone on their side and not some smart alec spewing out media friendly prose because some insidious emotionless PR numbskull has written it for them. Companies no longer can guarantee anything, international trade and finance fluctuates as it’s often manipulated by those that gain from such moves and at the end of the day even robbers, rapists, muggers, burglars, are given rights over and above the victims, and the young can be as unruly as they like because they too have rights and so by legal default decay has started all by the subhuman politically correct, who are themselves lost and for them unhappiness is a future of their own creation. Hopelessness for may is a state of ongoing life, interspersed with a few highlights which make everything more tolerable, yet the bottom line speaks of others untold ailments such as blood pressure, sleeplessness, dietary problems, weight problems, mental stability, and at times even a sense of personal security.

SOCIAL WANNABIES

Friday, October 29th, 2010

There is almost an epidemic of social websites emerging covering just about every aspect of social activity graded by sex, age, social level, intelligence (or lack of it), education, and anything else that one can throw into the arena. It’s interesting to see how many individuals are starting up their own Social Sites too as the technology, Internet blue prints and methodology are all there for just the asking or taking, and can be custom made from the vast array of mix n’ match templates on offer by the respective Internet software houses. With the exception of the notable main entrants into the market and their phenomenal growth, there are dozens of start ups every day trying to emulate the same and reap the rich rewards, sadly or possibly not, most will fail as their greed has precluded the kudos of what simplicity started the whole ball rolling, the ‘me too’s’ wanting to be everything to everyone and that never works as one is reduced to a status of nothingness in someone else’s bigger picture. The bottom line however in all of the social networks are contacts, and contacts for different purposes. People like to commune, the young are now communing with “friends” (read acquaintances) all over the place, sharing information, getting upset, getting rejected, finding new friends, dumping old ones, moving on, growing up, and so it all goes on, talking from behind the fence and in a language that would make them stumble and get flustered and possibly embarrassed in face to face contact situations. In business too there are social network sites, almost akin to desperate people trying to sell their wares or seek information for free because in reality most are small time failures with big time aspirations. Very few successful people are on such sites, why would they need to spend time on such when they are already busy making pots of real money with real people and not having to find Internet marketing gimmick’s to lure the available on-line dross into a scenario where money can hopefully be extracted from them. One only has to read the blog content to see their “overview” mentality, nothing to do with education, just to see the the mind sets that range from pedestrian to insular to aspiring, but most go no further, all still hoping to pick up the free tips from others on the site so that they too can make the grade. It rarely happens, even those pleased at what they have learnt haven’t that entrepreneurial streak to step out and go big time, real entrepreneurs already have that zeal within them.

I joined one site and within 12 hours the top tier members launched upon me like a pack of whores on a street corner, obviously ‘newbie flagging up’ on their profile pages, all trying to sell this, get that, take this, introduce me to this, want me to buy that, all designed to make me rich and wildly successful in next to no time, one wonders why it hasn’t worked for them or is all this just a game for them for something to do in their spare time. There’s something that’s interesting about communicating with those who have time to sit on the net and tout for business, and this works well for some, but for many it’s a habit of potential only and it’s the little bites that keep the excitement going for those larger bites that are desperately hoped for. Networking is good, but there is networking and networking, and many networking events are full of takers and few givers, everyone wanting something or wanting to sell something and few on the giving and receiving end, the word “Free” subliminally percolating in the air, i.e. ‘what can I get for nothing”. Many events are by their nature downbeat even if well attended. We all like to do well, we all deserve to do well, whatever we have in mind, however life dictates that it isn’t going to happen to everyone, never the less second, third or even fourth base can be richly rewarding and satisfying. For many social activity on the Internet can be more akin to an emotional interaction whether it be business or just social, more so for women as they are generally more social creatures than men. Never the less much ‘sparring’ goes on like it does with hens asserting their territory. A lot of smart conversations, narrow personal opinions, nuances of intellect, snippets of information, endless quotes from anyone who has said anything as if it’s so profound it will change life on earth in a flash, what all these things lack is originality. What all these things lack is that WOW factor, which is why so many people of like minds huddle around together knowing that the difference between themselves is minimal and thus aren’t going to feel too out of place. The real entrepreneurs are nowhere to be seen.

It’s not wrong to want to do well nor get ahead, it’s not wrong to aspire and it’s not wrong to have a yearning to do something for yourself either, the route to all these aspirations becoming a possibility or even an eventuality is wide, where many get lost is that they have a modicum or entrepreneurialism within themselves but not quite enough to break free as a true entrepreneur would do, as much of an entrepreneur’s ability is inherent, it’s a feel within, it fuels their ability to see beyond the humdrum and the masses of exchanged information, they have a vision that’s already loaded with positive insights and abilities. Further down the food chain are those who feel the need to commune and exchange notes, facts and figures and there’s no doubt that this does help many people, usually more by default than design. Born leaders are just that, those that are good at leading often need top ups to enhance or expand what they already have knowledge in, and those one step further down, well like many people are forever going on courses for this n’ that n’ something else, and whilst they may take it all on board like many is the psycho… whatever / coaching business are only as good as the last book they have read. Many people on the social networking sites are evolving in an elliptical manner as opposed to something more straight and vertical, there is a degree of social separation and few seem to get it, making contacts is admirable it’s the banter en-route that is just so telling of what backs up their abilities, business intentions and personalities, or lack of such as is often the case. People are people, they get used to repetitive scenarios where potential exists on paper but in reality no one lets go, meanness is a streak that often jealousy, greed, envy, (the negative emotions) fuels up. However if one has the “bigger picture” in sight, not just one’s idea of “what I’d like life to be like” and there is a massive difference there, then potential not only exists it offers itself to you.

THE POWER OF HOPE

Thursday, October 28th, 2010

Hope is an essential aspect of our lives, it’s not some woolly thought that we hope that we win the lottery or it stays fine for the bar-b-q at the weekend, it’s something far more fundamental, for real hope can be our guiding light especially in times of turbulence and darkness. Our hope for life and what it represents in life to us all can differ greatly, some people are gregarious, some timid or introverted, some plane greedy and selfish, others egotistical and bombastic, and at the end of the line of endless possibilities there are those who are just lost in time and space and don’t really know what life’s all about, other than the fact that they are living it. Hope gives us a hook upon which to extend our rope and try and get a catch, it’s that eternal feeling that there is something out there pertaining to our thoughts and despite the setbacks and upheavals and disappointments behind all that lies substance, something that’s there for us and that something is both solid and ours. How we live our lives has a direct bearing on our attitude, if we have love in our hearts we see life differently from those that can’t fathom out what love is all about, those people are often jaundiced and somewhat arrogant, and tend to live a lesser satisfied life that than others. Hope for them is a pure selfish thing and is not really shared if at all with anyone else, whereas those that have love within want to share as the camaraderie gives them a feeling of purpose and humanity and a warm feeling within that makes life feel feel good even if current circumstances are not that great. For those that have a belief, at least a Christian based one then hope is part of the doctrine in going forward, for those that don’t believe then it matters not, you are just biding your time until death arrives.

Whether we are entrepreneurial or quite satisfied with out lot as it is now, hope is always there for us to reach out to,  it’s an intricate part of our mind complex where our emotions and logic fuse together to give a stance on life and where we are within it all. If we are emotionally lead we tend to fall into a myriad of negative scenarios as we often do foolish things based upon our emotions, if we are the opposite and logically based we can tend to be cold, insincere, selfish and have little regards for anything or anyone who doesn’t serve a purpose in our own grand plan. A combination of both is ideal, it never is an equal split, but provided we look at life in a timely manner we can assess what lies ahead in a more balanced way and that allows hope to be a positive attribute and not a feeling of just endlessly wishing and hoping and getting frustrated and disappointed when nothing happens. Our input in life is paramount for hope to manifest itself in a way that we can utilise and latch on to, those that dwell on problems miss out on seeing the solutions not giving hope a chance, hope is part of our ‘seeing’ process so when we see opportunities we can jump for them, unlike the post hope will not arrive through our letterbox and wait for us to open the envelope and read the opportunities that are available, diligence is par for the course.

Our private “wish list” in life can grow or diminish as we progress, maturity seeing a side of life that youthfulness lacks, our “hope” for what is to come can also change and what we once hoped for is now just a redundant memory of past thought as new areas comes to the fore and our wants and needs change. Circumstances play a big part in our lives and at times unless they are good circmstances can throw us off course quite substantially. But with hope it carries a flame of possibilities and leaves us open to suggestions no matter how daunting they may be that guide potential for future prosperity or solace or degrees of happiness that at times we think has eluded us. Hope is contagious, it can elevate those around us that also need encouraging or a change in mind shift to see the better things in life and not dwell in a dowdy mode that percolates our thoughts and feelings and outlook. Hope highlights what sheer mind thought can’t do, we are not privy to the myriad of possibilities that are out there, our tiny minds think we know what’s available but in reality we know nothing, and allowing our thoughts to combine with hope brings to the fore this endless stream of options, ideas, perceptions, understandings, jobs, people, and everything that’s out of the box and beyond that too exists if we are receptive to it all, we can be the most blinkered people and thwart our own chances based purely on what we deem we know best. On the other hand we can shire brilliantly, but if you think you can’t – you won’t.

WHAT’S NORMAL

Tuesday, October 26th, 2010

We all have views about what is normal and what isn’t and by and large we share many views concurrently on the same subject , we have ideas and feelings as to what is acceptable and if anything veers from the norm them we trawl in an instant in our minds as to why and apportion it down to whatever it is that such a person did such a thing, sometimes we are at a loss as to finding that answer. But through time what was once a shameful thing is no longer, illegitimate children are no longer seen as anything other than young children without a father, divorce which was once scandalous too is all part of the ‘norm’ today which it shouldn’t’t really be even if it’s an inevitable step for some. Normalising many aspects of life takes the stigma out of the deed or situation which is in many cases good as there is usually an innocent party that is a circumstance rather than the perpetrator of their circumstance, such as in illegitimacy. Marriage should be for life, but that especially in the media is “fair game” when it comes to everything that can go wrong does, and celebrities bring it on themselves. Even Islamic terrorism from the people that should practise “Love And Tolerance” is almost acceptable in that “Islamophobia has crept into the language which wasn’t there once and there wasn’t such a word, and as terrorism is 98% Islamic one doesn’t need to be a rocket scientist to understand why.

The way people get on with each other and the degree of tollerance we have enables us to meet with a whole range of people and muster through, taking people as they are the good, the bad and the indifferent, we know what we have to do for what reason, so for the large part in life we just get on with it. Passing comment we may do but again for the major part we just accept that some of our meetings weren’t as we would have liked, but it’s all history and we have moved forward. Years ago the commonality of courtesy was far better than it is today, even if other aspects of life weren’t as acceptable, as there has become an integration of many cultures and ethnicity’s etc, the status has changed, some cultures are outgoing others still backward thinking and culturally crippling in some circumstances. What was normal pre such times has by default changed and life has changed too. The advent of new failures was never as evident as we now have “politically correct” people who are by their own hand sub-humans and a burden on everyone.

What’s normal for one person or society is often far from normal for another, it’s our understanding that gets us through. Protocols in one country can differ substantially also from country to country but by and large if you are a “foreigner” in that country you are usually exempt from the nuances and sometimes potentially insulting gestures as humanity accepts variances from those who are not expected to know. The most stringent and two faced societies predominantly Islamic countries where life always lags behind except for arms deals and nuclear advancement are prone to a stringency often covering up their own gross indecencies never reported or allowed to become public because they censor everything. But fortunately for the many that don’t have to rely on state diktat to behave ‘normality’ is often ones own individuality whatever that is, and it encompasses a whole range of moods, styles, shapes, formats, ideologies and the like, subliminally helping create a growth and desire to move forward , whereas as closed societies are always beggars relying on others for advancement which they procure or emulate or steal. Art, design, development, progress, discovery comes out of ‘breaking with the norm’ it has to by its own definition and as such the levels or ‘normality’ take on a meaning and life all of their own.

THE GOD THREAT

Sunday, October 24th, 2010

It’s all coming to the boil, religions are clambering for credibility, what does each and every God do for their followers, the answer is nothing, maybe give false hope but physically nothing. The religious intellectuals will wax lyrical about why and what for but have no connection with their God whatsoever, if indeed their God exists. If God is pure love, and God in any religion / language is pure unconditional love (repeat unconditional) then why are so many followers suffering on the planet, especially Muslims who seem to encounter more disasters, more troubles, more upheavals, as well as in many cases creating them than anyone else. Even atheists and agnostics have a better life than the vast majority that follow Islam who are racked with internal fear. All followers no matter what they believe fall into the category of when something goes well or is good it’s “God’s will”, and when it all falls apart it’s God wanting to punish them, but that’s all stupid narrow talk, and shows a complete lack of faith and knowledge about God, which ever one you subscribe to. The preachers are all raising their game as life becomes more turbulent, but the bottom line is that all preachers are in themselves losing the plot, especially the devout and intellectual as well as the fanatical ones, as they are in themselves fearing the change that is taking place and that fear is killing them inwardly and their ability to believe, despite what they say or “tentatively believe”, tentatively because they don’t honestly know!!! Another great truth is that God who bestows unconditional love, which means if you are a drug offender, prostitute or mass murderer, gay, banker, lawyer, etc, He still loves you, because that’s what “unconditional” means, (Muslim families nearly all fail here as love to them is conditional), God may not be happy but never the less He still loves you, no discussion, He does. This aspect of unconditional love is something that priests, imams, rabbis, etc, can’t get to grips with, they know it but they need to feel they have some credential in order to tell everyone not to sin, and give advice and quote spiritual context, but it has lost its impact as they are themselves dying of a religious cancer of their own creation. The big truth is that ALL priests, imams rabbis sin, and there is NOTHING written, spoken or anything else that says that despite how they live they will not got to Hell, as the vast majority probably will. All the priests, rabbis, imams etc, are “self appointed” i.e. God didn’t appoint them, and whilst they may know their own and other religions in fifty different languages backwards that guarantees them nothing when the day or reckoning comes along.

God is a very personal thing, it’s between you and Him, and that’s it, and you don’t need to go to church for absolution or confessions nor anything else, the litmus test is always the same, if you are on a dessert island – then what? Well, the ‘then what’ is exactly the same, it’s all between you and God, not some poncy divisive religous cretin who is full of evil bias and divisive sinfulness, (and most religious sin is given in preaching ill created ideology – and that’s a “go to hell directly” sin) you have enough of that yourself. Any religion that has excuses within it, saying you must do this n’ that except if you are here or have that is man made stuff, God is far greater than excuses. He is – that’s it, don’t create a job for yourself discussing it. Similarly if you do believe in God then you must believe that God created the Universe and knows all about molecular structures, bio-chemistry, singularity, quantum physics, quasars, etc, so do you think eating pork or being frightened of a dog or cat is going to throw God off into a wobbly, because if you do it just shows how narrow, thick, stupid and pathetic your mind really is. Man has created religion and all these narrow ways, no one created God, so all this hyped up doctrine and bias against women and sin and everything else has been written, produced and created by MAN, not God. The restrictions that many religions bring is not that of a loving God, God should help you excel, and not just one or two, but everyone, free from those zealots and despots that control countries and call themselves righteous – that’s almost beyond comprehension. It’s very easy to say God is good if you are healthy and wealthy, but the vast majority of people are not, especially Muslims. The publication Management Issues survey of workforces around the globe found that Muslims have an astounding 80% chance of being less happy than anyone else, even if they are wrong by 50% it’s a staggering figure. The Catholic Church is just as bad pampering themselves around man made doctrine and decisions that have no Godly bearing especially within the “bigger picture” and are the biggest employers of pedophiles on the planet, and it all seems much of a surprise to them even though everyone else knew about it for years and the terrible things that many nuns got up to in childrens homes. However Catholics are not isolated in these atrocities, but what it does open up is that “religions” are devisive and kept as “jobs for the boys” even though they may do a lot of good in ancillary areas. If you deal with God and not hide behind Him – and there is a big difference, transparency is a key note, NO religoius organisation is transparent.

There are about 35,000 registered religions around the world all practising what someone or other has made up and their respective followers believe.  Islam accounts for 96% of global terrorism, and the various bodies can’t keep on saying “they don’t represent the average Muslim” when in fact unrest and dissent is almost endemic in some areas, there isn’t a stable Islamic country on the planet, and this can’t be all under a “Loving Compassionate, Understanding, God”, God loves the Devil kills, so if you kill what is the Devil supposed to do, sit back with a glass of champagne and say “I love these  Muslim people they are doing my work in making everyone unhappy and killing – great”, love doesn’t kill or mane or hurt or cut off hands or stone people, the Devil does that. Even the government of Saudi Arabia recently was looking for a doctor to literally cripple someone as part of a court vendetta, what kind of people and God does this, and what kind of people are these, what kind of society is this? The mind power of the human being is amazing but if you give it up to others then you have lost out forever in life, you can’t have fear and God together it’s like  matter and  anti-matter, – zero. If you believe in God then miraculous things can happen, and do for many, but the majority believe in an idolatry and that absolves them from anything good happening other by accident. God gives you “free will” on planet earth so it you do nothing then nothing will happen. The conduit to God is love, so if you don’t have “real” love not just a love facade then you haven’t a hope of even communing with and God whatsoever. Fear and gross selfishness is not love, so many people whilst think they are believers will never ever have any connection with their God, ever, ever, ever, which goes full cycle to show why Islam has the poorest of everything in life, and why many young Muslim students have to leave their own countries to go to the “West” to further their studies free from the tyrants and mentally insane who hold everything back.

THE LOVE SWINGOMETER

Tuesday, October 19th, 2010

The basis of all my writings is about the foundation of society and that is “love”, for without love we are but drones or robots just living for the sake of living, a grown up ameoba without cause and feeling and without the ability to commune with life itself. But love comes at a price, it’ a great price to pay, but for many the “evil ones in life” it really is a step too far. For those religions that preach “Love & Tolerance” yet still kill, maim, stone, and everything else it’s the beginning of the end, for with true love there is absolutely no violence whatsoever, why would there be because no one would wish anyone else to be the cause of suffering no matter what the nature. “Evil” religions need control, and the words “unconditional freedom” and ” unconditional love” don’t exist, everything is conditional and oppressive, hence all the religiously controlled countries around the world are backward in every way and breeding grounds for terrorists. The Love Swingometer www.theloveswingometer.com is very simple it outlines  various potentials and thoughts as to where you are in life, it gives a visualisation of thoughts and feelings and puts home within yourself where you are. If you believe in God (and God in every religion is pure love) then you are on the left hand side of the swingometer, Light, happiness, goodness, etc, and if you believe in the Devil then you are on the right hand-side, it’s that simple and that accurate. If you religion is oppressive and resorts to killing and maiming then there is no “Almighty compassion” it’s just cheap words, if you are on the right for any reason it’s Darkness and Evil and Devil, death, suffering, fear. etc so you may wish to review who you are worshipping and how your thoughts are constructed.

The more to the left hand side you are of  “The Love Swingometer” the better life will be, it will be lighter, happier, more healthy, more fun, not at all neurotic or paranoid, it will not be stressed out or depressing, nor will it be lonely, it will not be vile or jealous nor will it be full of avariciousness and greed and divisive playacting, it will be creative and intuitive. And of course if you are on the right it will be the opposite, repressive, fearsome, psychosomatic, dark, lonely, isolated, conditionally loved, dreary, future-less, negative with hatred, anger, greed, indecision, full of paranoia and neurosis and all the rest, your God will demand retribution and all in all you will by default be a devil worshiper. It matters not what your ego tells you, nor what schematic plans you feel are needed to control or grow a society, but where love is in gross evidence the defaults of life, crime, rape, murder, embezzlement, burglaries, theft, etc, are but almost none existent. You create your life not circumstances, circumstances are what you have to live within, how you react to them or apportion them to your life is purely down to you. So if you throw a “wobbly” then that’s how life will be to you, if you say “sod it, I’m going to be happy anyway” then life will automatically be elevated even before any change has taken place. Such is the power and nature of our mind thoughts. We tend to migrate to those who share a common ideology of life, negative to negative and positive to positive.

TheLoveSwingometer is an indication of what life is all about for you, it’s how you react to life how you feel how you manage your emotion or perhaps why you don’t, it’s how you interact with life and how you see yourself in relation to others as well as they to you. Peer pressures, media hype, friends attitudes, plus other’s lifestyles at times have an influence, they shouldn’t’t but they do, what is inherent in just about all is the camaraderie of humanity and life itself. It’s only edged apart by politics, ignorance, and cultures, many of which are not compatible with life today, the stupidity of the gross failures in life such as the “politically correct” morons, who have nothing to offer except early death of themselves, and those that are greedy and avaricious. For the average person being loving and kind is the best credential they can hold to going forward in life and attracting the “right” sort of people around them to make life as comfortable and as secure as they can.  TheLoveSwingometer is but an indication of where the good and the bad in life lies, the real litmus test is within and that is where you experience life for all it is. Life is what you make it, you can’t control outside forces but you can control yourself and how you feel. The rest is now up to you, follow your heart not the diatribe of nasty religions and worthless people.

OPTIMISM

Wednesday, October 13th, 2010

Wow what a powerful word optimism is, it can literally change your whole life, the way you think, the way you feel, the way you work, the way you look at life, the way you enjoy life, the way life treats you, it can be the beginning and the end of everything you do. Optimism spells out reality, it spells out hopefulness, it spells out positivity, it spells out gain, it spells out endless possibilities, it spells out resourcefulness, it spells out happiness, it spells out recovery, it spells out just about anything that’s good and wholesome and fruitful and great and it spells out harmony too, that ability to commune with life and mankind. Whereas pessimism is all that’s bad, it’s stagnant, it’s sterile and it’s almost a religious feel to it in that it can be divisive and contorted hiding illness and dark areas of life that one should not even enter into.  There are many thoughts about optimists and pessimists and even business schools at times advocate a mixture of both so that the optimist doesn’t get carried away in a thought of uption nature, but in reality it’s only the optimists in life that ever get anything done.  Optimism has within it the ability to fail and overcome, it has the ability to triumph over defeat and make for strong and sound credentials that benefit all, it has the power to transcend from morbidity, all of which pessimism has none, pessimism is almost on a collision course with itself, eating away at negativity to form re-constituted mayhem elsewhere such is the closed nature of the word and all that it encompasses.

The life we live is charged by ourselves, not circumstances even if they are not as we would like, but by how we think and feel, and if our attitude is negative then we are going to attract all that’s negative around us and negativity breeds negativity. So eventually everything we do or think of will have negative connotations, life will plummet slowly into the doldrums and from that point onwards you will literally be on your own. It’s difficult at times to see the brighter side of life when events, circumstances and situations not only weigh heavily they can be an ongoing burden as some aspects of our lives are irreversible. But the beauty of “Optimism” is that whatever time we have, whatever life we live, whatever situations are as they are we can still be human beings and laugh and enjoy life to the full whatever that is, and that literally fulfills us as a person both giving benefit to life and mankind and receiving the reciprocal benefits of humanity and love too. Those that decide to make excuses such as “If you knew my circumstances” or “if you’d been through what I’d been through” are selfish peasants and should be allowed to wallow in their own juice until they realise that it’s only them that can improve life no one else, and trying to force their circumstances onto others for endless sympathy is not on. Other people have a life too and that doesn’t take in the negativity of every person who seeks an audience for their next drama recital of “all about my life”, it’s dull, it’s boring and it’s passe.

The beauty about being optimistic it takes into account the pitfalls and upheavals we go through en-route to success, even caution can be optimistic, whereas pessimism is already at a low ebb so when something untoward happens it seeks even more lowness for validation and whenever there is a glint of light it gets flustered wondering how long the light will be there and so pessimism falls into the abyss of darkness where religions that rely on hatred and killings and terrorism to fuel the devils cause live. Optimism is love at its best, it’s real shared strength, it’s the epitome of all that’s best and wholesome in life rather than the cast offs that pessimism lives on.

INEPT JUDGMENTS

Thursday, October 7th, 2010

It’s difficult enough for most people to get jobs of value, especialy if they are of a creative nature and that does not necessarily mean artistic in content, it’s their ability to see beyond the conventional and bring into the equation external factors that could either be catalytic in nature or increace value above and beyond current thought. The unfortunate thing is that nearly all Employment Agencies haven’t that ability to see that factor in potentential candidates, and very often those that wade through the dearth of replies miss endless excellent possibilities because succh candidates didn’t tick the overall boxes that the cheaply employed school leaver had to spot whilst going through them all. They don’t particularly care either, it’s all a means to an end and if someone fits the bill, even though they may not be the best of the bunch, no one knows anyway. HR and Personnel can be a world of their own creation, waxing lyrical like marionettes about company policy and the position available yet knowing nothing first hand of the emotional feel of what the budding client needs in order to accomplish the position offered and do well. Similarly many of the majour companies utilise psychometric testing when looking for an ‘out of the box’ thinker is concerned because deep down they want such a person to be a ’rounded all encompassing being’ which is what ‘out of the box thinkers are not’, but it’s how monoliths think and it’s how drones in the monoliths think too and it’s how the drones feed the lesser dromes in the heirachiel structured drone network that makes it penny wise and pound foolish. Multi-nationals are notorious for such structures even when they’ve gone through endless courses to – yes yet again “tick boxes”, and media corporations almost run incessed classes with structurs that each upholds to keep each in a position, even though each does almost ‘sod all’ in reality. Media and publishing companies are the only two organisations on the planet that haver courses on how not to communicate and they excell in that alone.

Governments and councils are way ahead of the game, where work is secondry to the “I have my rights”, “political correctness”, “having more days off than their commercial counterparts”, and they hit the top when it comes to beauracracy and internal bitchiness, it’s almost cultural and hereditary and part of the system. Anything that’s over and above “bog standard” has its problems, and so has trying to get rid of those candidates who think a certain advertised  job is meant for them and when the unstable peasants don’t get it they play the ace cards such as “ageist”, “sexist”, “raceist” and any other “ist” that happens to be going around which they can latch on to, we don’t as yet have legalised euthanasia for such people and a growing list of other misfits in society, of which some countries excell at. You can always tell those people who have none sales jobs, i.e. they don’t create revenue, as they can ramble on forever about constitutional aspects of the company and any amount or verbiage pertaining to how this is done and proceedures and how efficiency is alien to the work place and that forests are specially cultivated to allow them to print forms. Where conference calls take over from real personal contact at levels which should never be utilised for such applications, and that the review bodies cost more to run than giving the sales orientated forces a better chance to gain greater ground.

The “gatekeepers” in life those that by their own volition feel they are making a tremndous contribution to the sic and lazy and lost by filtering our candidates, ad hoc enquiries, etc, run the risk of reducing everything to a level pitch that has no undulations, no creativity, no excitement, no humanity, no potential, and no life. Gatekeepers are abundant in “publishing”, “media”, “music”, multi nationals, and successful smaller companies that don’t want hassle, yet it’s those in-between that often make the grade and the new era of boutique companies that are sprining up with a freshness of literally dusting off the historic mind sets of patheticness and smelling the real fresh coffee and freshly baked bread, not the synthesised smells that are marketed by the lost and terrible and sanctioned by accountants as their initial costs are cheaper. But long term the real stuff creates the grand harvest which is something the myopic can’t see and if the truth be known they don’t want to see, short termism is on a par with imminent greed, i.e. people may not be here if long term goals were utilised to share any rewards. It all  rings bells within the financial sector and the closed circles of grossly covert deals favouring the “what’s in it for me” as opposed to grand order of being successful. If success were apportioned to real situations such as every airline pilot got a bonus for successfully flying from a-b or surgeons performing life saving operations got a bonus for those who survived, etc, etc, where would it all end. And governments today are beyond being gutless and pathetic, despite what’s been put into place, they have as much panache as a row of french knickers in a shop window, full of potential but out of reach for the many.

DISENGAGED PEOPLE

Tuesday, October 5th, 2010

The more we move forward in life the more we disengage from the past as the past becomes a subject all of its own and thus few choose to engage with it, we then get a dichotomy of people, those ‘that know’ and those that ‘don’t know’, and within these two lies an intelligence that gives people to ability to proceed in life or to be held back by their own hand. Many young people are educated to a reasonably high standard, yet at the same time are sadly lacking in communicational abilities because they communicate via the internet or SMS messages and not in a predominantly face to face situation which requires different skills. Also most haven’t a clue where foods come from in the supermarkets or what the names of trees, flowers, vegetables etc are called. IT nerds they may be but what they live on is all but a mixture of technology and immaturity and to many young people -especially in the inner cities -are not interested in where many things come from as supermarkets and the like are there to provide, so why bother. Parents aren’t much better, just see the many neurotic houswives frantically looking at “sell by” or “best before dates” or indeed ingredient lists as if a single slip up at that point in life would terminate the family over night. Family units are now not only becoming neurotic and ignorant regarding basic life skills, but in the process are ‘losing the plot’ as to seeing life with a better future it’s all turning into an endless struggle rather than a journey of enjoyment together, and not being forever on the verge of being shipwrecked because of changing circumstances, which regardless of their nature they always come through. It’s however, “how they come through” muddling through that makes the difference between a dysfunction and ignorant family (which there always will be some) and one which is joyous, loving and supportive come hell or high water.

It’s not imperative to know where basics in life come from, and one can get along knowing basically only the essentials to provide minimum support, but the knowledge ability of those that break boundaries and see future events and situations always have a high degree of where and how even if it’s at the other end of their spectrum of thought.  Intelligence reigns where the bigger picture is part of the solution, ignorance reigns where nothingness exists other than the self, and more and more people are residing in the self, and as such rely on those ‘that know’ to carry them forward. One may have the lastest Wii, mobile phone with sat-nav and goodness knows what digital capacity, a home 3D multi surround sound system, and the state of the art home security and functionality such as turning lights on and off and closing the curtains, and everything else that goes with the package. But within these electro mechanically developed assetts, we have to personally live and have a reasonable amount of happiness, joy, love, understanding, the feel to be needed, wanted, to love and to have faith in fellow man, for without these humanistic traits we become drones ourselves and mental problems loom large almost immediately. Mental health is already the fastest growing problem area in the Western World and it’s nothing to do with clinical issues, it’s all conjured up within our own mind and fabricated by ourselves, and more often than not nurtured from within too.

The words “issues” and “political correctness” are cropping up more and more and the level of competency in local councils is at an all time low and even questionable by the stupidity of their nit picking which only emenates from the lack of quality people and debased ‘mind sets’. Designer driven, “I’m doing this for me”, “I need my space” are really phrases that are not required if one is in charge of their lives and understands others and their part in our lives, it’s this lack of who “we are” which many display that shouldn’t exist. Many often feel somewhat lowly or bombastic in trying to assert what they want when really no one is that bothered either way as to what they do or don’t do. Engaging with life doesn’t mean having to be a part of all of it all the time, nor knowing everything, it’s understanding yourself because if you don’t no one else will and then that’s when problems really start. The information that is being pumped out into the market today is such that if we absorbe it we will become derailed pretty quickly, so it’s apportioning it all on a level that means enough for us to consider and make informed choices, not interact with our emotions to get depressed or anxious or anything else. Many people disengage with life by default, they suddenly see life as something larger than they had anticipated or realised and feel not only vulnerable but helpless and impotent to literally do anything of worth or value or even contribute to it, as their contribution from their point of view would be insignificant. All this whilst having an element of truth in it is when it comes down to the individual hogwash, and this readressing of self worth is paramount in order to suiatain stability and happiness purpose and the “I know who I am factor”.

LUCK

Sunday, October 3rd, 2010

We all know the word “Luck” and we know the use of the word which can be a frequent comment in our daily conversations when we see other people having what we would like or winning the Lottery or whatever it is. But in reality luck is an abstract thing and not something that some have or don’t, it’s more down to our perceptions of what it is rather than what it is itself. Luck isn’t an isolated event of great positive benefit as it can also have a macabre side to it, often not seen by others and this is where envy and greed and jealousy all fall apart. We rarely see what the negative sides of “supposedly” what luck can bring, and the adage “be careful of what you wish for” is very true. If you seek great wealth then it could arrive as a compensation package for having broken your back in a fall and never be able to walk or move again, your wish for wealth has come true – you have received wealth. We often refer to our un-luck in that what doesn’t come around our way goes elsewhere to seemingly “lucky” people, but that’s not true either. In reality “luck” or “un-luck” is dispersed amongst billions of people and many who appear to be lucky are either more active in their lives and one rarely sees the “down side” of their lives. One thing is for sure the more you enter into life and commune with it the chances of good or better things happening are far greater than those who are staid or reserved and do little. Comments from bystanders are always tinged with degrees of jealousy or feelings of unfairness, but if the truth be told it says more about them then anything else. Our old favourite “attitude” is paramount as to how we perceive life and how life treats us, bad attitude and everything always appears unfair, good attitude and one sees greatness in life and happiness brought about by the simplest of things. Melancholic attitudes and winging similarly always produce a “down” in life and that “down” is hauled around by the holder of that attitude so no matter where they are they produce a negative bias to all and sundry which self ostracises them from the main stream of positivity.

The more we do in life the better we interact with it, being an armchair critic or so called ‘professional’ critic of anything especially in the media smacks of failure, where people add nothing to life other than their opinions which are of no value, unless you are lacking yourself in thought and reasoning. But for those that want or need to progress both ‘stepping out’ and moving out of ones’ “comfort zone” is by far the best way for good and great things to happen, life communes with those who interact with it, it won’t come knocking on your door then wait for you to get changed to greet it. We by and large create what we would term our “own luck”, the random accessibility of things happening are always evident around us and what we deem would be expedient in our lives is not always where that proverbial ‘luck’ or accessibility will avail itself to us. Most people see luck as something quite dynamic that’s over and above what they currently have, yet in reality it may be for example that whilst a friend has just received some money from a deceased relative but is of ill health, but your health is first class and as such you are in a far better situation than receiving a mere cash reward no matter how useful that cash could be. It’s rarely seen in such terms, your ill friend is probably deemed as “lucky” having received such funds, yet they would give it all up just to be healthy. Again, it’s down to attitude and that your attitude is the one thing that can either make you and break you and it’s all under your control.

Wishing that luck is on our side is a waste of time, and has nothing to do with thinking or hoping that we do well because we have put a lot of effort into what it is that we are seeking success. Where we don’t accomplish that success at a particular instance is not always negative and sometimes the experience of failure is more rewarding in the long run, although initially it’s rarely seen as that and it’s only when the disappointment has rescinded that that can be understood. Luck is an ambivalent word as it holds no weight other than possibly a good wish from onlookers, but to rely on luck as a possible aspect of being successful is pushing your luck, even if it appears that some have that ‘midas’ touch in what they do, it rarely equates to an easy ride if seen from within. Doing our best with an open mind yet determined spirit is by far the best way to fgo forward as then one can accommodate both success and your goal not being met either, whatever the situation one can cope for admirably and proficiently. With ‘luck’ being a strong factor in the equation and something not happening it denotes that what one did was not quite right yet it could have been ‘spot on’ but just at that moment conditions were as such that it was not conducive to succeeding then and there, another time yes. So it’s important that our zeal and zest and fortitude is in full force and the use of the word luck is nothing more than a notion of thought.
